Tom Gillespie started Gillespie Home Inspection (GHI) in 1993. Since then, we have inspected thousands of condominiums, townhomes and single family houses in the Bay Area. His responsiveness, attention to detail and professionalism has made GHI a favorite among real estate professionals servicing this affluent community.

Over the past decade there has been a steady increase in the overall volume of home sales and the percentage of homes inspected. GHI has played an important role in helping tens of thousands of home buyers and sellers gain the knowledge and confidence they need to make an informed decision on one of life’s biggest investments.

In August 2002, Kim Herrera joined GHI as the Managing Partner to take the business to the next level.  Kim brings extensive operations, management and marketing expertise, having worked in several entrepreneurial ventures including a well-known civil engineering firm in San Jose. With Kim's guidance, we look forward to expanding our services and geographic locations. In fact, during the last year, GHI has inspected more homes and serviced more clients than ever before.

We currently contract with two full-time inspectors to keep up with demand. And we're looking for more qualified inspectors as we begin our expansion. But rest assured that no matter how much we grow, GHI will always maintain its commitment to provide you with the best possible information about the real estate transaction in which you are involved.
